Marks 4WD Adaptors manufacture low range reduction gears to suit many models of Mitsubishi Pajero, Montero and Shogun. These gears are manufactured in house at their facility in Melbourne, Australia.
48% low range gears
The 48% reduction gears give you a great overall reduction and suits vehicles fitted with manual or automatic transmissions. These are suited to vehicles used for rock crawling, sand, desert, etc. or vehicles that are prone to run away down hill (fitted with an automatic transmission). As an example this reduction gives a manual vehicle about one gear below where the factory gearing sat. High range is not altered when fitting our low range gears.
The input gear spline is 24T – 26.5mm diameter.
40% low range gears
The 40% reduction gears give you a great overall reduction and suits vehicles fitted with a manual or automatic transmission. These are suited to vehicles used for rock crawling, sand, desert or vehicles that are prone to run away down hill (fitted with an automatic transmission). As an example this reduction gives a manual vehicle about one gear below where the factory gearing sat. High range is not altered when fitting our low range gears.
The input gear spline is 27T – 31.3mm diameter.
66% low range gears
The 66% reduction gears give you the biggest reduction we offer and suit vehicles fitted with a manual transmission. These are mainly suited to rock crawling vehicles or vehicles that are prone to run away down hill. As an example this reduction gives a manual vehicle about one and a half gears below where the factory gearing sat. High range is not altered when fitting our low range gears.
The input gear spline is 27T – 29.6mm diameter.
Will these gears fit my vehicle?
You will need to remove and open the transfer case and check that the gear has a bore through the centre.
Nota: A Mitsubishi workshop manual is required for fitment
